Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the BiloChat mobile application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The Service
BiloChat is a language-learning app that helps you learn through bilingual conversations, vocabulary tracking, practice exercises, and AI-assisted coaching. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Send content that is illegal, hateful, or infringes the rights of others
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
- Misuse AI features to generate harmful, deceptive, or abusive content
- Access the AI features through automated means (bots, scripts, or scrapers) or share an account to exceed normal individual use
Subscriptions & Payments
BiloChat offers auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Use of the App is also governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA):
Fair use of "unlimited" features. BiloChat Pro is described as offering "unlimited" AI coaching, conversations, and word enrichment. "Unlimited" means there is no per-day usage cap that a person using the App normally would reach — it is not a license for automated, resold, or shared-account use. To keep the service fast and affordable for everyone, we apply reasonable fair-use limits that only guard against automated abuse and are set well above ordinary individual use. We may adjust these safeguards, and we will not use them to restrict genuine personal use of the features your subscription includes.
User Content
You retain ownership of the content you create in the App. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. BiloChat is a learning aid and does not guarantee fluency or specific learning outcomes. AI-generated feedback may contain errors and should not be relied upon as professional translation or instruction.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BiloChat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from Account → Settings → Delete Account.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
